Viewpoint - Matthew & Tracey Kennedy

What does it look like for God’s Kingdom to come in and through a cafe?

Delicious food from local producers & great coffee from sustainable sources, visitors connecting over conversation, staff members feeling valued in their role and supported in life outside work, generous hospitality for guests from entrance to exit, partnering with organisations who share the same values and vision.

If you come to the Owl and Pussycat Cafe in Hillsborough - this is what you will see, taste, smell and feel. (Side note: if you’ve not been - get yourself down there!)

But what else is there to a Kingdom-oriented business?

As Matthew and Tracey (Lisburn Hub) share, starting and running their cafe has meant a radical reorientation of priorities, putting others first day-after-day, and spurring each other on amidst all the challenges of running and growing a business with eyes fixed on Jesus and not just the bottom line.

Take a moment to listen in - you will be encouraged, challenged & blessed.
