Signpost: Podcast – Theology of Business

Podcasts are a great way to ‘redeem’ time that you otherwise would not be using. We aren’t suggesting that every moment of your day needs to filled but there are times of the day and tasks where listening to something that will build you up is a great thing to do.

Pre-lockdown I know many people used their commute to listen to podcasts, others do it while they go for a run and in the past week I’ve discovered that a number of my friends relish the opportunity to mow the grass as it gives them a chance to dip into a podcast. I personally have a pair of Bluetooth headphones which I pop on when I’m doing the dishes!

You have probably heard the phrase “leaders and learners” and podcasts are a great way to learn ‘on the go’.
Anyhow – a podcast that I have been enjoying is called ‘Theology of Business’ and their recent episode where Mike Sharrow (President and CEO of C12 Group, the largest network of Christian CEOs in the USA)  shares how Christian business owners are responding to the COVID-19 coronavirus crisis, including positive stories of what God is doing through His people in the marketplace.

This episode will bring a lot of clarity from a Godly man of great wisdom and there are 68 other episodes and a wide range of topics – really practical stuff with great guests and perspectives.

In this episode he shares a challenging story at 13.30 where he states that “God already owns all business, you just have to decide whether you will be a good manager!” Something to think about!
