Matthew Kennedy: A hope-filled response to Covid-19

This is the third video created for the Evangelical Alliance and today we’re looking at a Story of Hope.

Matthew Kennedy, founder of Owl & Pussycat Café Hillsborough, Hillsborough found himself in a similar position to café owners across the country as he had to close his cafe’s doors due to Covid-19.

Working with The Journey Church, Lisburn, Journey Together was created to help fulfill a need in the local community.

This initiative will provide 100 free meals (enough food for 400 people) a week for 5 weeks for nhs.uk staff who are working on the front line fighting Covid-19. A copy of the Gospel of John will be included in every pack.

“This initiative is a direct result of seeking God's heart in prayer..”
